Arrive at Haridwar railway station or Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun). Our driver picks you up and transfers to your hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for the famous Ganga Aarti — a mesmerising experience that sets the tone for your yatra. Overnight in Haridwar.

Haridwar → Barkot

210 km scenic drive (7–8 hours)

After breakfast, begin the journey to Barkot — the base for Yamunotri. The route passes the Mussoorie bypass with beautiful hill views. Reach Barkot by evening and check in. Rest well for tomorrow’s Yamunotri trek.

Yamunotri Darshan

40 km drive + 6 km trek, hot springs

Early drive to Janki Chatti (40 km), then a 6 km trek to Yamunotri temple (ponies and palkis available). Visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna and the natural hot-water springs. Trek back and return to Barkot.

Barkot → Uttarkashi

Drive along the Bhagirathi, temple visit

Drive to Uttarkashi along the beautiful Bhagirathi river. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Uttarkashi is the base for Gangotri. Rest for tomorrow.

Gangotri Darshan

100 km drive, return to Uttarkashi

Drive to Gangotri, one of the holiest sites on the Ganga. Perform darshan and puja at the temple beneath Sudarshan peak, then return to Uttarkashi for the night.

220 km drive via Tehri Dam

Long scenic drive to Guptkashi — the base for Kedarnath — passing the Tehri Dam. Reach by evening. Rest well for the challenging Kedarnath trek tomorrow.

16 km trek or helicopter, evening aarti

Drive to Gaurikund and begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath (or take the helicopter from Guptkashi). Reach by afternoon and attend the evening aarti at the ancient Jyotirlinga — one of the holiest Shiva shrines. Overnight at Kedarnath.

Morning darshan, trek back

Wake early for morning darshan at Kedarnath temple, then trek back to Gaurikund (16 km) and drive to Guptkashi. Rest and recover from the trek.

200 km via Chopta & Joshimath

Drive to Badrinath — the final and most important dham — passing the beautiful Chopta meadows and Joshimath. Reach by evening and attend aarti if time permits.

Temple, Mana village, drive to Rudraprayag

Early morning darshan at Badrinath temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Visit Mana village (the last Indian village before Tibet), Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. After lunch, drive to Rudraprayag (160 km).

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar. Reach by afternoon and transfer to the railway station or Jolly Grant Airport. Your Char Dham Yatra concludes with blessings from all four sacred dhams. Har Har Mahadev!

You can travel solo — we’ll arrange a private vehicle and driver just for you. However, travelling with a group of 4–6 significantly reduces the per-person cost since vehicle and hotel expenses are shared.
